My name Glad reflects my character, am happy bubbly person and many people known as the ray of sunshine. I like to see people happy and l never bring my problems into work. I am a Positive Person who believes happiness is what l create and it’s a choice.
Love cooking, dancing, nature walks, helping people, fundraising and entertaining others. As a career I love to make good changes in any situation l find my clients in. I feel the best care can only come if l treat my clients the way l would like to be treated or my love ones.
I am calm and good in restoring peace in a stormy situations. I got lots of good in care which l have accumulated over the years in caring for people. In elderly people: l have learnt that if wanting to to something important eg a bath or wash for someone who is confused if the answer is NO give them space then go back with a slight different approach it works.
A child l got to bring myself to their level be a child too then they feel that you are on the same page. Someone with learning disabilities they need slow approach, praises and learn fast about their unique ways to be able to gain their trust.
Working people who can not talk meant l read their body language, facial expressions and not presume that they are ok with everything.
That is just a bit of examples but otherwise l believe in treating everyone as an individual.
